What is reliability like on newer Insignias? Was looking for another make/model today and spotted a very nice/clean 140bhp Diesel insignia.

I have a 2013 160 auto estate, the ride is on the firm side and the Insignia engines are a bit noisy, other than that I'm happy with mine.
As always make sure it has service history.

I think the engines changed on these sometime in 2015. The older Fiat derived 2.0 litre engines in 140bhp and 163bhp were replaced by GM 1.6 litre 136bhp and 2.0 litre 170bhp engines. The newer engines are much more refined and smoother.
