I went on a night out recently and wore an old ring my grandmother gave to me but when I got home I noticed the stone had fallen out of the ring. I dont know what kind of stone it was, only that it's jet black, the ring is real silver if that makes a difference. Id love to get the stone replaced but I dont know anywhere that provides that service, would anyone have an idea?

    Thank you.

Oh, I'm the wrong area entirely. I'm actually in Limerick and could recommend someone here alright, but definitely a bit too far for you :(

Might it be an onyx stone?

Try giving Patrick Glynn on Middle Abbey St, D1 a shout, I've had stuff repaired and custom made by him over the years.

I lost the diamond out of my engagement ring. I went to Moonstone Jewellers (Boyle & Carrick on Shannon). Hubert ordered in a new stone and fitted it himself. He's very reasonable and will search for the best deal on a new stone for you.
