Road rage

Have you ever had road rage? There was one time I had a car which was low as hell so I had to go at like 5 km/h through the speed bumps and the guy behind me one day wasn't happy with that and started honking me non stop, as a result I stopped completely to annoy him more then started driving again. Then he overtakes me and blocks my way and does the same, at this point my rage went through the roof and I grabbed my door handle and started to get out of the car ready to kick some ass and then he drove off, I felt testosterone flowing through my veins and I was sure I was going to and then probably end up in court. Another time I got road rage when I was late for an important career related thing and there was a like of cars going 50 km/h in a speed limit of 100, this resulted in a huge road rage and as a result I started driving in the hard shoulder and overtake the drivers unable to travel at the speed limit.
This all made me extremely depressed and as a result I barely use a car anymore and have switched to motorbikes which improved my mental health extremely well.

Everyone at one stage or another gets road rage and if not careful can be pretty serious and dangerous.
    Your second story shows that.
The first story I can understand the driver behind you.
The car is modified to a point where going over a speed bump further impedes people behind you.
He beeped and you brake checked him simply to annoy him and then began the cat and mouse.
Best to just count to 3 and relax behind the wheel.
If someone had pulled into the hard shoulder while you were undertaking them all you'd be in serious trouble.

As for a story.. my worst would probably be a few years ago.
I was travelling in a lane which was only turning right and a guy on the left only lane tried to push me out of the way to get into the right hand lane.
No amount of beeping would stop him from the attempt. On my side was a barrier and behind me more cars so eventually I let him in and gave him the finger.
He brake checked me and I snapped.
Got to the side of him with a gap further up the road and lowered the window shouting at him.
This went on and on until we got to traffic lights. I got out of the car and he simply sped off through the red.
Life's too short for that ****e.

Why did you have a car as 'low as hell'?

    1. It looked daft.
    2. Of course you pissed people off driving your stupid car stupidly.

    I've been followed.

In my work vehicle I have been followed.

I've been blocked in from proceeding further.

I've been punched through my window by a guy whom was unstable and no other reason then wanting to fight. Its OK I punched back a lot harder.

Years ago I was turning right on a roundabout and there was a car travelling up behind in left lane but decided to try and pass. This didn't go well for them and she got the fright of her life.

I had stopped as not to collide with them and then moved on. The woman followed me flashing and honking and also tried to pass on inside and outside numerous times.

Eventually she turned off so I thought grand that's over but noooooo I was I wrong she ended up going a different route to block me in down the road. She pulled up at side/front of car screaming and frothing at the mouth while the passenger shouts do you know who I am!!!! I looked and said thank god no. She then told me she was a county councillor and would have my job and have me done for trying to run them off the road and many many other comments and slaggings later they sped off.

I moved off and turned a corner and what's there only 2Gardai doing a checkpoint.

I pulled up he looks over discs and I asked him over as he was waving me on. I told him the story of what just happened he took my details and got in contact and had me go in for a statement and same for the other 2 and he then let me know he had gone up the town to see could he find the car which he did.

He got all details of it and ended up doing driver for minor driving offence with a €60 fine and passenger with a public order penalty.

Get this the 2 of them even admitted they said what I had said they did including the councillor bit and the Guard thought it was hilarious that they would even come out with such rubbish.

Nah, i'm pretty calm behind the wheel. I laugh more at idiots losing their tempers in their glass and steel wagons. If i'm in bad form, I'll give the finger to the dangerously stupid ones. Most people will speed off and cr@p their jocks if they see you getting out of the car, which i've pretended to do before :pac:

Had gold Audi short arsed loud mouth get upset with me due to passing cars while in front of him doing 110 in a 100 and then 80 in 60, ended at set of traffic lights pulled inside of me giving the ol horn, fingers, backhanded wave signs. I got out car as getting nose he locked up doors n windows ignoring me and then preceded to go through red lights in to hoteland phone gardai and my works.

Once explained to both what happened never heard anything, did stop wearing uniform to work though after that.

Never done anything before or since, and just let people get there 5 mins of joy from cutting people up etc
