    1) I’ve had no water pressure to my cold kitchen tap supply all morning, are there any issues in my area?

    We’re sorry to read that you are experiencing issues with your water pressure.

    If you are still experiencing issues and there are no known supply disruptions mentioned at wtr.ie/SupplyInfo for your area, please send us a PM with the following details:

    - Your name;
    - Address and;
    - Contact number.

    We can then investigate this for you straight away.

    2) I have seen numerous figures as to the average water usage per household, can you confirm where I can find the correct information?

    Consumption averages differ depending on what purpose they are being used for and on what is included in the figures is solely occupied homes; a mix of occupied and non-occupied homes; those homes with leaks; homes without leaks; all metered homes; a mix of metered and non-metered homes; homes with multiple of single occupancy etc.

    The Consumption Reports provided to the Comission for Energy Regulation, and which are available on the Irish Water website, provide the most up-to-date and accurate breakdown of water usage. Please click here for more.

    3) My cold kitchen tap water supply was discoloured on the 22nd March, 2017. Were there any known issues in the Donnybrook and Belfield areas of Dublin?

    There were essential works on Kilmacud Road Upper, on this date, which may have also affected the surrounding area. These works had an estimated completion time of 1pm, which may have been why your supply was discoloured.

    If you do experience any further issues with your water supply, pressure or quality, feel free to let us know and we will be happy to help.

    Also, both @IWCare and wtr.ie/Dublin are updated with any known disruptions in the Dublin area, 24/7.

    4) My water supply has been undrinkable for the past three months due to discolouration, is this being fixed?

    Please send us a PM with the following details and we can investigate the discolouration to your water supply.

    - Your name;
    - Address and;
    - Contact number

    5) I’ve received a bill via email in the form of a .js file. Is this from you and how do I open it?

    We have been made aware of emails being sent asking people to 'download a bill'. These emails are not from Irish Water and we recommend that you delete it immediately and to not click on the attachment or provide any financial information.

    We have also posted information about this on our website.
