Bank of Ireland reps will answer that question if you ask on their Boards thread.

Almost certainly not, the bank will forward the money and that's the end of if as far as they're concerned.

With each transfer, you can use the 'remittance information' field to include a one-off short message (up to 140 chars) with the transmission, the recipient can see this.

If the money was sent to the wrong person, the bank will (at your request) write to that person asking them to send the money back but that's as far as it goes.

I was not requesting such level of involvement for the bank.
Just the possibility to send some summary information from 365online or to add to the payee contact the e-mail and send an automated message when making the transfer.

It is used in multiple banks...

You asked about 365online, the answer is still no.

If other banks do it and that facility is important to you, consider moving your account.

And please tell us which banks do it.

    Hi pasquale83,

When you make a transfer on 365Online we would not have the facility to text or email notification to the recipient to confirm your transfer. However, if you are registered for Pay to Mobile and the recipient is a BOI customer and registered for the same service, you can complete this transfer on the Mobile App. This transfer is immediate and the recipient receives a text to confirm this. For more information on Pay to Mobile please see here

    Thanks again,
    Elaine

Unfortunately they don't operate on the Irish market.

    Thanks for the replay Elaine.

The reason I need e-mail notification with bank transfer details is to better keep track of payment I receive/make. texts are not appropriate for this purpose.
