    How long does it take to get a birth certificate delivered? For an adult needing it as proff of self

    If you order online about 10 days. If you go to the registrars office in person you will get it there and then.

    Thanks for that. Can u go to any office or do you have to go to the county you were born in?
    Also do you no what relevant paper work I would need to bring?thanks again

    You can apply at any registrars office, and as far as I know you don't need to bring anything except the details, DOB name, etc... And the fee. €20 I think for long form birth cert.

    You can go to any county now once it is a "normal" birth cert.
