Other than the OnePlus 3T what is the best upgrade from the OnePlus X?

After an unfortunate incident my OnePlus X is destroyed. I absolutely loved the phone but not overly fussed about the OP3T as an upgrade because (a) price is a bit high and (b) whilst I know it's a fantastic phone (which is why I haven't ruled it out completely) but it's just not really standing out for any of the things I loved about the OPX.

A list of the things I loved about the OPX and would love again...
    1. Really nice, solid, sleek looking
    2. Great front/ selfie camera (8mp)
    3. Overall pretty good back camera as well
    4. Was pretty reliable to run smoothly
    5. Is unlocked (this is pretty crucial - some mainstream phones are a pain to find unlocked!)
    6. High resolution screen

In an upgrade I would love to find (in addition to the above):
    1. An even more exceptional camera (front and back)
    2. Better battery life if possible

Overall there wasn't much i would have changed about the OPX but I am really keen not to go backwards in any sense i.e. i want my new phone to be at least as good as and better than it in some regards! Really interested to hear advice. I'd be keen on trying chinese phones from brands lesser known in Ireland (Xiaomi, LeEco,....) but 100% open to suggestions. Budget is preferably under 400 euro including delivery and I don't mind the waiting time for shipping from sites like AliExpress.

    Any help is much appreciated!

Take a look at Zuk Z2 - good processor, storage, memory and battery increases for only around 150€. Not sure on camera

I went from an OPX to a Lenovo P2.I find it's a good upgrade without breaking the bank. I bought it in a three store in the UK for €242 (including a SIM with £10 credit that you have to buy too). Just checked and it looks like there's unlock codes on eBay for a few quid (I'm on three Ireland and my sim works). Improvements are unreal battery life, NFC, finger print sensor and it has some nice little features too. Due to be upgraded to Nougat in April according to some on XDA.

I went from a OnePlus One to a Huawei P9 (new, unlocked, bought from a re-seller on adverts.ie for 340 Euro). The OPO was getting a bit long in the tooth, battery life wasn't the best and to be honest, it was a bit too large for my needs. The P9 is a definite upgrade, camera is excellent, screen is plenty big enough, updated to Android 7.0 (EMUI 5) with Nova launcher. Fingerprint sensor is very fast. Battery life also good, lasting about a day and a half.
