    No doubt bouyed by watching some very average players from the comfort of the commentary box the past few years:

    Will be interesting to see if he can qualify for the Worlds. If Steve Davis was able to be semi-competitive well into his 50's, why not? Then again, Hendry hasn't played competitively for a long time.

    Wow, I hadn't heard about this until now... I think he shouldn't have retired when he did, just needed to figure out what was letting his game down at crucial moments. Hope this works out well for him, he's a great player.
