Hi can someone advise about the new skyQ box please,
this lady had a skyplus hd box in her sitting room with the signal fed via coax to the kitchen and bedroom and a spare room where she has an excercise machine, its only herself and her husband at home and she is the main one who watches the tv,she used to record shows early and watch them later in the kitchen or while exercising ,now since she has got the new skyq box she can only watch it on the main tv.... she does not want the expense of another box... can she stream her recordings to a tablet or is there any way she can watch the recordings in another room
    sorry for the rambling message,
    thanks

thats not correct, that sky q box is a bit of a whiz, you cant stream unless you have multi room!

" Sky Q Multiscreen subscription required to: 1) Watch TV around the home on tablets or more than one TV. ."

    she should kept hd.

if less than 14 days send it back

Why did she get Sky Q?

She must have had some requirement that her existing system did not fulfil?

If not get rid of it and go back to what she had.

    Hi
    thanks all for your help
as far as I know she got the new box just before christmass and I think it was on some kind of special offer,
    that's all I know
when she moved into her house a good few years ago I put up a terrestrial aerial and fed her sky signal around the house via rf2 out,
I will ask her to contact sky directly herself.
