    Hello all.

So after a long winter sanding and refurbishing I'm getting my ducks in a row to paint my deck again. So it's a 27 ft jollenkreuzer yacht. Wooden ply construction. So last year i used international interdeck in white and my god I hated the stuff from the minute I put it on. So hard clean, or even keep clean not mad about the Finnish either.

So this year i want a bright glossy but still a non slip Finnish. Any one any recommendations on paints single pac / 2 pac or what would you recommend.

    Any help on here? Cheers

Hi nigeim485 bright glossy and non slip don't really go together :) you options might be to just paint it with a toplac paint and stick down some non slip strips or add some non slip granules to the paint, Hempel do one that's a bit finer than International might be worth a try they also do the granules that you can add to your choice of top paint.

Do ya reckon 2 pac would be an option. With the granules?

Yep you can go 2 pac, might be worth doing some test pieces to get the mix you want, another option would be to sprinkle some sand over the paint before it sets but this can also give a dirty look.

Cheers ferg was thinking the 2 pac with the granules would be job. My main concern was if the 2 pac would crack on a wooden boat. Sure won't be long finding out ha

You could coat the deck in fibreglass cloth that would stop any cracking and seal it but will cost a few quid. Is it hardwood planked might be nice to strip them back and just oil them.
