Please be aware of the changes and layout of some of these questions!

Entries must be submitted before the start of qualifying. No Exceptions.

Please ensure you answer all questions individually. Only one answer for each question should be submitted. If more than one answer is selected, you will not be eligible for points for that question.

Please also include your answer to the final TWO questions, what will be the fastest lap and who will be in the top three below.

The person(s) to guess the top three in the correct order, get an additional 40 points. The person(s) to guess the top three in any order, get an additional 20 points. These points are available to all, to a maximum of 40 points.

All results are final at the start of qualifying.

Question 2 requires either driver to finish the race. Retirement of one driver will constitute their loss. If both drivers retire, whoever completed more laps, will be deemed the winner.
Question 8 requires a collision of two cars resulting in either driver retiring from the race within that lap. This includes retiring from within the pit lane on the same lap.

Annual Excel sheet I presume. It's probably easiest to take the one from Australia last year and edit it. EDIT: Make that Australia 2 years ago, as last year had a slightly different competition (Loser instead of fastest time in Australia as it was set up after qualifying had happened)

I'll be able to fill in some of these competitions in a few months time, won't have much time to do it for the first few races though

Well it's the final season of free-to-air F1, so in honour of that here's the first in a suitably timely series of updates to the competition. Anyone hoping that the new regulations were going to bring about a dramatic drop in the time taken to get the results was betrayed in a way that we're all too familiar with. Perhaps new owners Liberty Media will spend some money to employ a faithful boardsie to do this full time, or at least improve the macros in the spreadsheet to scrape everything off this thread!

Anyway, nobody on Boards was cynical enough about the speed of the new cars; Kimi "new dad" Raikkonnen was 6 tenths slower than our slowest estimate, which was from that well known curmodgeon Lionbacker, who was clearly muttering under their breath while posting "4 seconds faster? I'll give them 4 seconds..." but it got them 25 points.

About a third of the field went for the standard Merc - Merc - Vettel podium combination which has proved so popular over the last few years, but nobody was brave enough to think Ferrari wouldn't have lied all the way through testing, or made a balls of the race apart from Mitch Connor, who instead had no faith in Bottas, thus agonisingly missing out on 40 points.

So our leaderboard has many familiar faces in the top spots; Ghost Train heads the field.

Just saw the free practice times that weeekend & thought to myself that they were very pedestrian to what was predicted pre-season. Luckily my educated guess paid off:)
