I ordered two pairs of Armani jeans, when they arrived ed I suspected they were fake. Brought them to designer shop who confirmed this. Tried to get hold of company won't refund me. Tried to get charge back from bank of Ireland. Keep changing goal posts. Got them confirmed fake and now bank of Ireland want me to post them…

I ordered two pairs of Armani jeans, when they arrived ed I suspected they were fake. Brought them to designer shop who confirmed this. Tried to get hold of company won't refund me. Tried to get charge back from bank of Ireland. Keep changing goal posts. Got them confirmed fake and now bank of Ireland want me to post them the jeans to inspect.

Hi Barry S, thanks for getting in touch and welcome to Boards.ie

If you haven't been able to resolve this with the retailer you can complete a transaction dispute (as outlined here) but inspecting goods would not be something that is part of this process.

Were you asked to provide proof that the goods were fake?

When I rang someone on phone said I need to post them to bank of Ireland. Yes I was actually told that.
