Android box issue

Hi, I've an android box with the RTÉ player app installed which works fine. But a friend has given me hers because she couldn't install the RTÉ player on it and she said asked would I have a go. I've gotten it installed ok, but it just crashes shortly after the logo appears. Is it no longer available to download?
Would I be able to copy the version I have on mine and use that on her box?
    Any advice appreciated, thanks :)

I've had loads of Android devices and I've found the RTE player very hit and miss, personally I think it's just a crap app that only works on very few versions of Android. Sometimes apps crashing can be resolved by clearing their cache and data but I wouldn't be too hopeful with the RTE app. You might be able to run it through a browser on Android if all else fails.

You could try an APK extractor on yours and then install that on her device.
