    Hi all,

I have a Kestrel DA6 polisher and I want to see if its possible to use it with the use of an inverter?

I dont have anywhere to go that has power sockets but want to get back into detailing again.

It appears from reading online it should be possible and people do it but has anyone here any experience with it?

    Thanks.

Is it a power inverter for the car?

Yeah. For a 500w DA i think I would need 1000w inverter for the extra draw when putting pressure on paint

I'd say you'd have the car's battery drained in no time to be honest. You know how long it takes to do a panel ;)

Id have to leave the car running for much of the time and i would just do one panel at a time.
Its Jap paint so ill fly through it :D
