Best Club Facilities

We are looking at starting a club development and we are looking to get some ideas from other clubs. We are a small parish just outside Lurgan Co Armagh but have a good sponsor behind us and reasonably good support amongst the local community. We are looking to build 2 new pitches (maybe one will be 4g full size), a stand that incorporates the club house, changing rooms etc, an indoor 4g and S&C gym. Obviously we will be looking to rent the 4g pitches and make money off the gym and try and create a revenue stream. I have looked online for ideas. Lavey Co Derry, Dunloy Co Antrim, The Dub in Queens University and Donaghmore Ashbourne Co Meath are some that look very good. We will be looking to take a visit to these places. Mallow and Nemo look unreal but are at the opposite end of the country from us.
Any other recommendations of clubs to take a look at? And also would you recommend 2 grass pitches or 1 grass pitch and 1 4g pitch. We have our current pitch but it would be about 2 mile away from the new development idea.

Nemo Rangers, Mallow (Cork) and John Mitchells (Kerry) and Doora Barefield (Clare) are the best I have seen. But they are a long way from you. Didn't Tyrone GAA do some big job recently?

Not building a 4g pitch in Ireland when the chance presents itself is mad imo. Just last week nearly every pitch around us was unplayable due the weather and my club anyway had trouble getting their hands on a place for us to train. I know the initial cost is huge, but well worth it.

St. Patrick's Stamullen's grounds are fantastic.

I think it was scaled back slightly from the original plans, but it's still a tremendous complex

The plan is to build one that will be able to hold soccer and even rugby matches on the 4G. We can try keep a revenue stream going that way. It's a massive project and we will need to get moving on the finance end of things.

Not massively so if I remember the plans from the time it was the clubhouse we scaled down by a couple of dressing rooms and held off putting lights in till we settled in.

Well worth a look though just for the OP the pitches are sand based we don't have a full size 4G, in terms of astro we put in two five a side cages, they're a decent revenue stream too, I even seen some people using them for kids parties where they use them for an hour for the kids to play and then into the hall for pizza's or whatever!

Killyclogher is meant to be an impressive facility.
