VW Passat Saloon - missing rubber seals - need replacement

    I have noticed that the rubber seals in the boot area along the sides, just above the rear lights, are missing and the other one is damaged. I presume this will be letting water into the car. It was a second hand car and only noticed the issue now.

    I have attached a photo of the missing one and the damaged one.

    Is there somewhere I can buy these online and replace them myself, if so what are they called? As I have not had any luck simply googling them, or;

    Would a VW dealer have them and be able to replace them?

    Cheers

    I think they might come as part of the light housings but you can try a main dealer parts department they will be able to bring up the part on a computer screen and see if available separately.

    Alternatively search eBay for something like B6 (it looks like a B6) passat 20xx (what ever year it is) rear light rubber seals.

    Fitting them yourself will be easy you will have to remove the lights to fit them properly though.

    Yeah, they come as part of the lamp unit, the outer tail lamps for a B6 are €115 each from a main dealer. They do tend to perish over time.
