JobPath/Turas Nua Clarification

I received a letter from JobPath/Turas Nua about attending an information session. I also received a text from JobPath/Turas Nua, which said Welcome to JobPath etc.

At this moment in time am I officially part of JobPath/Turas Nua or not? or do I only become officially part of JobPath/Turas Nua when I attend the session and sign their contract/agreement. I want to clarify this because I don't know where I stand with JobPath.

Your on Job Path. The Government have decided that for you. All that remains is to be a yes man/woman for the next year i.e. You agree to everything they say and review them positively when they ask you for feedback on the service.

OR...give up your benefit/allowance and provide for yourself and your family.
    That is another option.

With the old Jobbridge/TUS crowd you just had to say you liked cutting hedges and painting lines on GAA pitches and they would fine a place for you somewhere.

But this Turas Nua gang have no interest in helping people, they just want to make money off you.

And neither can you! Do you just stalk me around the boards or have you a list?

If you don't like me calling you out for your nastiness, all you have to do is stop being nasty! If anyone is stalking, it's you stalking jobseekers!

If you don't like me being "nasty" (just your opinion, don't forget, nothing else) then all YOU HAVE TO DO is put me on ignore.
You don't get to dictate who does or doesn't post on a forum, and you don't get to mod others comments.
Shock for you, but you'll get over yourself soon.

I'm not the type of person who ignores bullies like you. :)

So pursuing a poster to accuse them of being "nasty" in an effort to force them to stop posting (lets face, that was your objective here today) isn't bullying.and the smug little smiley face too..I see...I think I'm getting a picture of your capacity for hypocrisy here. It's quite staggering TBH.
Edited to add: do give yourself a big pat on the back for your courage in hiding behind your keyboard, faceless and anonymous, I'm sure your a veritable superman when you see an injustice being perpetrated in the real world.

What do You expect if you're going to make provoking comments like that?

I really don't expect or care one way or the other. I don't know why anyone would care what any anonymous person says on an Internet forum.
If that poster wants to follow me around making snide comments I'll give it right back though.
People in receipt of SW accept that there will be terms and conditions. If you don't like the terms and conditions you should cancel the contract and take care of your responsibilities yourself. That's my only point and if you want to debate that with me that's fine, I'll hear your argument.

There's nothing I say here that I wouldn't also say to your face, or to anyone else in real life for that matter. I doubt if the same applies to you. I can't imagine you walking into a DSP office on signing on day and telling jobseekers that they should "give up your benefit/allowance and provide for yourself and your family." It's not me attacking jobseekers -- it's you, so you're the one who requires the anonymity of the internet, not me.

You don't know me. You know nothing whatsoever about me.
But anyway go ahead. Tell me more about myself that you have discerned from a handful of words on a chat room.
    It's kind of entertaining.

Are you saying you would do something like that? Such hatred of the unemployed is quite shocking. Just showing yourself up for the bigot you are!

You forgot to say "wow just wow"

Now I'm a bigot. Your easily shocked. You really really need to get out a bit more.
Hatred for the unemployed? Or hatred for the poisonous wave of self entitlement and total lack of personal responsibility that's washing across the country at the moment?
Expecting SW recipients of + 1 year to co operate with efforts to get them into paid employment, while my husbands employer has to advertise for workers in the Czech Republic because he can't get anyone to work from here isn't really hatred though, as much as you would like to pile on the drama to further your own agenda.
Keep commenting though on other people's posts, while having nothing constructive to add yourself. Your very helpful.

I was unemployed for 6 weeks before these shower descended.

Ive just finished my sentence with Turas Nua. Very poor. I was not put forward for one interview during the whole 12 months. They are taking unemployed people and giving them jobs as advisers to unemployed people. These advisers are paid about €12 per hr and generally have no experience in recruitment etc. They are only frustrating people by forcing them onto this sham.

Why not advertise the jobs here. I know people who are looking for work; maybe these jobs are the answers to their prayers. Or would that be too constructive a measure for you?

Why do you refer to them as a "shower"? They're just doing they're job? You need a job or you wouldn't have signed on.
If you referred to them as a shower after your year was up and you could tell us why you are dissatisfied then that would be ok, but if you've only just started then why can't you just cooperate and give them a chance?

Ill tell you what I'll do.
You go and PM a mod and ask if it's OK to advertise job vacancies on the Benefits forum and you can come back to me and tell me how you got on with that request.
If I get an email from a mod telling me to go right ahead I will.
Actually I challenge you, as it is your idea,to go ahead and ask the mod and post the reply here.
    Fair enough?

There's a job vacancies sticky in the Work and Jobs forum. Why don't you post them there?

Why not just post them in Work & Jobs?

Edit: I see sunbeam beat me to it! :)

They only exist to hide the true unemployment figures and to turn a profit for FRS recruitment.
My dealing with them so far have been infuriating to say the least. I have posted about this in another thread.

Since 1996, I have been perfectly capable of finding my own jobs and I will do so again this time, without being forced into a meeting with them, using inadequate computers to job search.

I have absolutely no problem showing many job applications which I have completed.

And, I am already registered with FRS recruitment and have been for over a year. And guess what??? No sign of an interview.
