Tonight's Late Late Show looks like it could be a bit of craic......

For the day that's in it, I'm posting a short clip from The Quiet Man, it's one of the few 'Oirish' movies that I can actually watch without too much cringing - I love the feistiness of Mary Kate Danaher and the chemistry between her and Sean Thornton (O'Hara & Wayne) they remained very close friends up to his death in 1979.

The short answer no. The long answer that Rte would spin is that the viewers want to know more about the guests from our own shores and in RTE (because they are cheaper to have on the show compared to a high profile international guest).

Niamh Lyons scored a great try to get Ireland to 7 points which is something for them at least.
