Is burglarized a proper word, or is the word burgled?
I've only heard it being used in the last couple of years. I presumed it was an Americanism

English usage is Burgled. Americanism is burglarized.

No, it isn't. Neither is "configurated" or the use of "invite" as a noun.

Its a bit too close to buggerized for my liking.

Indeed. Presumably they get "plumberized" or "electricianized" when a tradesman comes to fix something. :pac:

    Robbed. You've been robbed.

    It's a perfectly cromulent word.

    Look at you embiggening yourself.

I was recently burglarized by a man with a large tool. It was not a pleasant experience.

Obligated is a new, sh!tty one on me, American usage mostly.

    Whatever was wrong with obliged?

You need to report this to the police, or maybe go out on a second date..
