Morning all, we have a wedding in Florence at the end of April and the cheapest way we can get there is fly to Rome and train to Florence. We have the flights booked to Da Vinci (Fiumicino) and I am in the process of booking the train. We land at 10:30 and there is a direct train to florence at 11:08. My question is how far away is the train station from the arrivals and also have I any hope of making that train? There is one at 11:27 but that goes into Rome and I have to change trains, I have no problem with this but it would be nice to be on a direct one. Also we will have one checked bag. TIA

You're really relying on absolutely everything going perfectly to have any chance. I'd really just chill and get the later one, it seems it only takes an additional 10 minutes and involves a very simple change.
Having a checked bag makes me think it's impossible really but I haven't been to that airport.
Check this site for Italian train information.

I really think you'd be putting an awful lot of pressure on yourselves at the start of your holiday just to save a very small amount of time.

Hi . Did you check flights from Dublin to Pisa? I know 100 % that Ryanair is working . From Pisa train station (which is very close to the airport ) to go to Florence (firenze santa Maria novella is the main train station in Florence ) is maximum an hour by train . Good luck !

P.S. after I posted I saw that you bought your ticket flights already .
