Hi just wondering if anyone can recommend girls primary schools around the Douglas area in Cork. She's only a few months old but heard of the long waiting lists!

Is it specifically all girls ? Gaelscoil ? Ethos ?

Doesn't have to be all girls school, we are pretty open really as to what type of school just as long as it has good recommendations

Our Lady of Lourdes is a smaller school with a good and friendly reputation. A friend has girls attending and she's very happy with it. You also have St. Columba's Girls' School (Douglas), Eglantine (big school) and the Gaelscoil and Scoil Nioclás (mixed). Scoil Nioclás is a very large school.
