Hi I was wondering what the average price of a replacement outdoor oil boiler.. Currently there is a firebird one outside (not in boiler house) but needs replaced.
It would be great if someone could give me a rough price so I know when I am ringing around what to expect, this would be for installation and all.

    Thanks

Bit like asking what a car costs.

Depends on what work is involved, make of boiler and size.
But on average about €2500 for one in a galvanized hut, give or take. For average house.
GRANT boilers are the best IMHO
( I'm a service engineer) for all makes.

Got a replacement outdoor boiler installed last year to replace a 15yr old one.

2,300 all in, also for that price got a zone added, two rad thermostat added as well.

Grant was 700 I think, so there actual cost was 1600, and ended with with a far more efficient boiler at that.

Thank you for getting back.. I was wondering for the grant do you get 700 euro for just replacing the boiler or do you need to get replacement radiators etc?  Thanks again

I think the amount varies, my grant included boiler upgrade and adding controls (thermostats and radiator valves)
