Has anyone played Voez? Could be the hidden gem of the launch line up.

It's a rhythm game that uses touch screen only (can't play while docked).

Here is a 30 minute lets-play. I was breaking in a sweat near the end of the first song (just watching it) and now I really want to try it. :)

If you want to see how hard it can get, skip to the last song at the end of the stream. There are over 100 songs with three difficulty scores included, it has a story (a diary) that is unlocked by completing specific requirements and the reviews are very positive. It has the 4th highest Switch score on Metacritic. €25 is steep enough, but it looks like you'll get value for money, especially if want to scratch that Ouendan/EBA itch.

The price is steep but you are getting all the songs from the mobile version and all the DLC as well, with more to come as DLC (116+ songs with different difficulties are promised so a huge amount of content). It works out cheaper than all that on mobile.

I've not played Voez yet but the team responsible made Deemo and Cytus which are two of the very best rhythm games on mobile devices so I bought it knowing it would be brilliant. I'll get around to playing it.... but Zelda.

Watched the first song, first thought was "NOPE!"...

Bit too frantic for me I think!

The easier difficulty levels are more than manageable.

That was level 10 (Special) - the hardest difficulty for that song.

Got it last night. After 10 minutes playing, I had buyers remorse. I wasn't really enjoying it.

Then to unlock some more diary entries, it forces you to complete songs at a higher difficulty. When I did that, the game came alive and became much more fun.

If you buy it, jump to "Hard" as soon as possible...

It's not easy to play in bed though. You need to put the Switch on a flat surface so you can use both hands comfortably.
