Account opening for Brazilian ( Bank Patrick Street, Cork) BOI

    Dears, good night

    My name is [snipped], today 13/03/2017 it has been 1 month and 3 weeks that I requested the opening of my account in (Bank Patrick Street, Cork) BOI, until today I received no return. I'm feeling completely uncomfortable with this situation. It seems that because I am Brazilian, they are not giving me importance. Please, resolve my situation with the opening of the account. 

    I went to the bank in person today and was informed that in the afternoon I would receive news about the status of my account, but this did not happen.

    I can't understand the delay in opening the account, I await a solution with the utmost urgency.

    Please kindly help me.

    I'm sorry to hear of the delay with opening your account and that you feel it is related to your country of origin and would like to assure you that this is not the case. 

    I have been in contact with the customer service manager in Patrick Street branch who has advised she is in constant contact with your teacher regarding your application. As soon as your account is activated you will be contacted.

    I'm happy to know that the delay is not related to my nationality, but I believe that 8 weeks is a long time to open an account.

    I really appreciate an update with maximum urgency if possible, because tomorrow completes the eighth week that I started the process of opening the account.

    Have you checked with your teacher for an update from the branch? We've been assured the delay with this has been explained and the customer service manager is working to get this resolved as soon as possible.

    I would like to register my disappointment with the bank. 

    Last Tuesday the bank contacted the school (the bank has my data as phone and email but did not contact me directly) to inform that after 8 long weeks of waiting my documents were lost. It's hard to believe, but the documents were lost.

    I had to send all the documentation and register online again.

    Please help me, I do not have 8 more weeks to wait for the possible opening of the account.

    I await a solution to my problem as soon as possible.

    This matter is of the utmost urgency.
