Grazing after slurry

I applied some slurry on to some silage fields in early February after the closed period,  the grass is fairly strong now on these and I wanted to graze it off with some light stores before closing for silage.  Just wondering what about the slurry nutrients now, would they used up, or wasted because I'm now grazing the grass. I did try to graze some off before the slurry was put out but the cattle were marking it.
