I go up and down from belfast to Dublin I always change my currency to sterling in belfast in a post office.

Am I doing this wrong cause seem to lose alot? Am I better to change euro to sterling in the republic? If so where is best place.

You are best using a Revolut card which is a prepaid debit card with no fees and no FX margins provided you stay inside limits.
