Hi guys.. I'd like to buy a camera for when I'm out hiking.. The camera phone just doesn't cut it sometimes so I'd like to so what 400 euro would get me? Its not a lot I know as you get what you pay for but is it possible to get something that can take nice low light landscape shots for that price? In years to come I'd like to move into astrophotography but I know I'd have to up my budget quiet substantially then.. Thanks to anyone who replies!

A Canon 1300D might fit the bill. Argos have one for €399.

It will also be usable for astrophotography.

    Michael.
