    Oil filter on Saab 9-5 Arc 2.2 2004.

    Any idea where it is located?

    It is not under the engine by sump, i think its by the eg valve - will upload photo!

    I found it. Just wanted to confirm to avoid complication.
    Slight diff spec model is in diff location.... not too comfortable under a low profile car thats jacked up ......

    2.3 aero turbo is next to sump plug accessed from underneath engine opposed to next to battery under bonnet.

    If that is the diesel engine, then the oil filter is the least of your worries.

    Its another part that will kill the engine.
