    Hi

Im looking to get some oil for my 08 VW Caddy III 1.9 TDi 1896cc 105bhp

The halfords tool for finding the correct oil prompts for options with DPF and w\o DPF. I'm looking through all the documentation etc I have - and cannot find a a clear answer.

When I put the van reg into micks garage it just shows me engine oils (no mention of DPF\No DPF)

this is one of the recommendations:
    https://www.micksgarage.com/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=6595642

Matching the specifcations between the two my Van has DPF ? Am I right ? Or how can I clarify further (I've tried a few web searches with VIN number etc). DPF is inside the exaust right? so cant do a visual ?

I'll be passing halfords later so thinking to pick up in store and save on the postage, heres the one I'm seeing when I select with DPF on the halfords site:

    Cheers for any help

I'd just go with Castrol edge or Mobil 1 esp 5w30 both are vw507. This will work if the van has a dpf I don't think it does. If it doesn't both oils will work perfectly also just be slightly above the requirement. In other words better to over do it with the vw507 spec than under do it.

Thanks CIP4 went for the Mobil in the end, seems to have dissipated an uneven knocking I was hearing idling
