Murder Machine

Seems like the religious/government ran a murder machine quite successfully for quite a while on this fair island. While polls are in favor of keeping the institution that generated both money and corpses from multiple generations around. But day by day and week by week more atrocities are uncovered. Why do supposedly intelligent people cling to this. When they get to "heaven"! how will they reconcile the actions of the many many perpetrators of horrible actions. Yet they Blindly follow. There is no excuse, no justification, no reason to either the actions or the beliefs of the deluded..

Maybe many have faith but are very concerned about aspects of the Church?

You mention Governments running a murder machine, yet you don't go on to slam those who still remain incredibly proud to be Irish.
