GAS Connection in Apartment

    Hi Folks,

I would like to install a GAS connection in my Apartment. Enquired with Board GAS and they said they couldn't provide as there is no existing GAS connection in the apartment block. So the only option I got is to go with the Cylinder GAS. I have spoken with the Management company over the phone and they are ok to install a Cylinder GAS.We have a private open balcony and possibly could keep the cylinder there and route the pipe to the Kitchen.

In past, I've heard from one of the Authorised GAS agents that Cylinder GAS are never allowed within Apartment blocks for Safety reasons. Just worried if it legal and safety to do so.

Any advise or suggestion would be of great help!

    Thanks,
    Varatha
