I have had my lenovo laptop just over two years, and I'm on my 4tb charger. My current phone is still on its original charger, as is my ipad. Both over a year old. But my old I phone had about 10 chargers in 4 years.

What options do you want on the poll?

My Macbook pro will be 4 years old in the summer and It's currently on it's 3rd charger. My phone S6 Edge is a year and a half old and on it's second oem fast-charge cable.

What do you be doing with your cables? These days I've never had to replace a charger for anything, I have a glut of chargers in drawers that outlived the devices they came with.

It's not often you get a thread that comes around and screams 10,000 posts like this.

I have my laptop about 4 years and still use the same charger. Works just as good as it did on day one.

I have an HP laptop running vista (slowly tbf) still on its original charger and lead. 10+ years old.

We only keep to run a label printer, which I'm too tight to replace.

I've too many chargers. All phones and tablets in the house usually get charged with the same one. Never had a problem with a charger or cable. Maybe you don't treat them properly.

Pro tip, don't wrap your leads up in tight circles, or stretch/pull on them.

    Or use them in bondage.

I replace mine every time I come back from holiday and realise I left the cable behind me, again.
