Shop delivered a floor model without telling me

    Hi all,
    I recently bought a small kitchen island, table and chairs. I was informed that delivery would take between 3-6weeks. When the funiture arrived, the table and chairs arrived boxed but the island did not. When I inspected the island i found it to be dirty and slighty shabby looking. When i compared the island to photos i took of the island in the shop its the floor model they sold me as it has distinctive marks on it. Can the shop sell me the floor model without informing me?

    Short answer is no but, what did the price card say or does it mention it on your invoice.
    ie: display model (fm)

    If it doesn't they should replace it or give you a discount

    Thanks for your message. I rang the shop and they did indeed send me the floor model. They offered me a reduction in price or an exchange. I went with the exchange. Still waiting for it to arrive..
