    Hi guys

Heads up have Deslexa before give out about spellings

I have a job offer for a Daily rate contract back in the area that i love again SAP support its good money and all I will be paid weekly. 6 month rolling contact.

But heres the thing I work in one of the largest IT companys in the world doing 1st lv support took this job on to i got back into SAP and I don't mind the job its easy work. Making every single target + plus more but my manager has a major issue with me. She does not like that i come to work early and leave 10 mins after everyone. She keeps asking for crazier goals every month and some how i get them + more every month for her. She finds issues with every little thing i do in my work. Eg I fix issues to fast, I fix issues to slow. My rating is not up to standard (98%) Site wide target is (90%). I am will above it.

In team meetings she puts everyone else in the teams scores up and always forgets about me. When I am on a call to a client she will be messaging me none stop and wonting me to hang up and speak to her.

She has said to me that she cant understand my English countless times (I am Irish)

She keeps comparing me to others on the team and putting me down saying why cant you be like such and such.

I have spoke to Sr manager about her and notting was done about it. As i asked the Sr manager to tell her to get off my case and let me do my work and stop finding faults in everything.

I love the company and the job but my issue is with the manager in question. I am going to speak to the SR manager tomorrow and go from there and say i have a job offer but how should i go about in that meeting is what i am wondering and how to word it with the manager ?.

If the company does nothing about the alleged bullying behaviour of the immediate boss then I would leave the company. You seem to be in a very threatening and unsafe place both emotionally and from a security point of view. You may be able to grow and develop better in a new job situation.

Tell the senior manager frankly and clearly what you said here, that you like the work, the company and the career sector etc.. but cannot seem to establish a good working relationship with your immediate boss.

Ask him for his feedback and ask for potential solutions to the problem.

If other staff members are forthcoming, ask them for their opinions of the boss. If they are happy with her then there may be a problem with you that needs addressing....some bosses do not understand the problems associated with dyslexia and think that criticism and hectoring will "cure" it. The reality is that being able to fix software issues such as SAP shows an above average level of intelligence...any average joe can fix spelling mistakes and you probably already get help with any important formal documents etc before submitting them to general use. The boss probably needs to educated with regards to both the limitations and also the capabilities of people who suffer from learning disabilities such as dyslexia. If you are genuinely doing your best then that is all that can be expected of you. You probably more than compensate in other areas in your overall work performance outside of your difficulties with the written and read word.

Best of luck with whatever course of action you decide to take.

Give a little more information here.

The team 14 of us started 4 + months ago there is only 5 of us left from who started and there seems to be a person leaving every week or two and everyone has said for personal reasons. This is what I am finding very stranfd that the team is dropping like flys and the fact more or less it will be down to 4 next week if I do go.

I was on hoildays there a few weeks ago and when I log into my computer eg 30 mins early like I all ways do. My manager has sent me a meeting that is going to take place basic right away and she sent the request when she knows I was on hoildays.

One day I was 6 mins late logging in as my computer crashed. I emailed her saying sorry for it and I got a warning for being 6 mins late from her via email not in person.

I go into my meetings with her In fear as it's 2 hours of finding issues with me and how I speak to people how I email people. How I fix issues. It's just so strange that I got a ear full from her for not been able to speak Greak or Dutch or Swedish. There my bad Csats that have came in but some how it was my fault.

I work in fear with her I know a manager will never be your firend but you should not be haveing the shakes in a team meeting with her.

Today I hope I have my meeting with the sr manager. As I do not won't to leave the job or the company as I like them parts but my manager has me in fear

Anyway had the meeting with the Sr manager and basically said wont do anything as I see that she is doing notting wrong. I ended up basically crying in the meeting as said everything that i don't wont to leave but i am basically been bully by my manager and said what can you do ?.

Handing in my notice today cant wait to leave the place I spoke to other people who used to work there all left because of my manager.

Wishing you the best of luck with your new job, you've done the right thing. Strange senior management aren't seeing red flags with the amount of staff leaving, she must have some clout with them.

Anyway when I handed in my notice I was told by the manager in question that she won't take it as it does not meet her requirements... And then started to nit pick it ans say this never happened and so on when I put in black and white that I am leaving because of her.

I am out of the place 2 days now and is shocking how happy I am now and that this experience has came to a end I basicly fell free.

I never done day to day contact work in IT before so hope I get on OK. As the fact I got this job in less then 30 min interview shows I do know what I am talking about and I have a brain after been put down for months. I just can't wait to get started

Good luck in your next role and more power to you.

Will give you a update on this.

MY old company called me out of the blue about this and there is a huge invistage going on with it I was invited back up to the office to talk and give my statement at any time that i was free to give one. I have done.

So now she has been invited to give her side of a story and she is bringing someone in with her to give her statement. This is happening in the next few days.

She also did not pay me for my notice that she refused me to work.

The more and more i think of it there must have been more then just me who made a complaint about her. AS no way they would have invited me back on to campus at any time i wont to give a statement ?.

I will keep everyone updated on this. As being honest i do wont to go back into this job in quastion well a more SR role as the company its self was great it was her where the problems lie.

Fair play to you op go in and tell how she made your life he'll so she will learn a lesson and hopefully won't do it again or maybe get the boot for being a first rate bit*h. She deserves it. No mercy. She forced you out of a position you really liked.

I can't believe this is real. OP, get a lawyer. It doesn't matter that you were a consultant. You have rights. This woman and company allowed serious bullying and harassment of you during your employ. Do not go to the meeting without legal advice. They probably want you to sign a waiver or something.

I second this for two reasons, one is as this where till save someone else from facing the same. The other is that you deserve to have your say even after leaving.

I had the metting anyway last week it was a skype call. Went on for a good hour and a bit and there is a 4 doc that will be said back to her over every single thing that i said about her.

There i had another call yesterday and i added another page to what is going to be said to here so there is 5 pages of buillt points over everything now i just got to sit back and wait to see what she says.

Like the worst thing i think she done was send me a email about how i need to speak to a consolor with my issues and gave me a number to call ....
