Just wondering who operates the inhouse bookies shop at Ascot racecourse?. Its the only non tote facility inside the foyer but doesnt have a recognised name. It Its like a badged stan james or something but without the name.
The second question, i was at the most recent meeting and just off the train there was quite a steep uphill walk to the course. Do they do coaches up there or do you have to walk it?. It would be a problem for the elderly or infirm i was thinking at the time.

Everyone seemed to be walking when I was there. Bit of a pull up alright. I thought it was Betfred that was there. I could be wrong.

It was only on the way back that i realised you can take the footpath on the adjacent road beside the pub at the station which would help if it was raining as that silt on the park path would be muddy if it was wet id say but everyone just followed the leader up the park type path.
Think you might be right with it being Betfred but it was a generic watered down name like 'race betting' rather than a known name and was wondering if its an inhouse bookies and if not why cant it be listed as Betfred or whoever the operators were(unless its a bit crude as to offend the top hat sensibilities!). I dont really care but the curiosity just bugs me is all!.
