Back in 2012 a few smug gits were enjoying the WiiU on release and lots of us poor unfortunates got left in the cold

So this thread is for the switchless members of the forum community.

    Anyway WiiU zelda ftw :D

Mine's hopefully waiting to be collected in Smyths. Have a back-up reservation in Argos though.

Same for me, would like to say I am getting it today but will more likely be tomorrow or Sunday, can't bloody wait. :D

Still waiting, it's hopefully waiting for me in Smyths or they are going to see a hissy fit the likes of which Carrickmines has never seen before. I will be tipping over **** and smashing windows of small businesses and setting ****ing fires - the works. Missed out on reserving a backup in Argos earlier due to mobile site issues, so childish violence is my only recourse.

If I'm still part of this exclusive club at 4pm today I will be more miffed than Miffy McMiffster at the annual Miffing championships at Mifftown, Co. Miff.

I reserved a Neon and a Grey Switch in Argos Nutgrove this morning and gave myself until lunchtime to decide if I was going to get one.

I've just bought Zelda on the Wii U instead for now so if you want either of those two reserve numbers, let me know. There are reserve codes for Zelda, two Pro Controllers and an accessory pack too if you need any of those too.

No Neons left in Carrickmines without a pre-order but a few Greys on the shelves.

I guess this is goodbye, you switchless bi***es!

Day 1 in the Switchless sparks household

Sad day to wake up knowing a new Nintendo has been released and I haven't got it in my hands.

From Santa bringing the nes and snes. From my pocket money buying my gameboy. And one of my wage packets buying my N64 (my mammy wasn't happy she got no money that week)
And another wage packet buying my GameCube (My fiancé wasn't happy we didn't eat that week) Then my fiancé buying me my Wii (She just gave up at this point. So i knew it was time to marry her soon enough.)
All the way to Santa bringing the Wii U to the house for me and little ms Sparks.

Nintendo is our gaming life now and always a switch will be mine. Of that I'm sure.

Anyway back to Zelda on the relic that is the WiiU.

Well as one of those late adopter types, I'll be waiting a good while before making the Switch plunge.

However I look forward to living vicariously through all the Switchers on here over the next few months. Hope ye all enjoy your new toys.

Anyhow BOTW Wii U (and the Smyths Twilight Princess bundle bargain) which I picked up today will no doubt also help pass the time. Fully intend to play it via projector and screen for full cinematic effect!

Day 2 in the Switchless sparks household.

Situation is starting to get desperate. I'm hearing clicking noises from the switch promo. I even looked behind the sofa in case I dropped 400 quid behind it on some drunken night. Have a family party tonight and I'm sure many will ask what I think of the new console. How am I going to live with the shame of telling them I haven't got one yet.

Although I do have a plan.

I'm placing a bet on Bellew to beat haye khabib in the ufc and a couple of other selections to bring the acca up to 39/1 with a tenner on it I could have my switch tomorrow

    Fingers crossed:)

Not sure if you're serious and I hate to break bad news, but Khabib v Tony is cancelled - the Eagle couldn't make weight. Was really looking forward to it too. :(

Save your money and wait for a new hardware revision of the Switch in the new year, when all the little issues are ironed out and it has a kick ass selection of games. :)

A Switch in 2018 with more on board memory and a non-desyncing controller could be a better bet.
All the launch games will be in CEX for a tenner each too!

Well that just makes me want a Switch with Neon yellow and green joy-cons now!

Am sans Switch as I am currently financially inverted against major console purchases.......have to wait till Aug/Sept and see how I am doing. Definitely want one by Xmas for Mario Odyssey though, and will prob double dip Zelda, especially if the DLC has some good stuff in it by then.

Thankfully the Wii-U got the best Switch game, it's all down hill from BoTW folks! :p

I don't have my Switch, mainly cos I returned it to rebuy when there's more games/Online services available, so I'll probably get one for before E3.

Don't regret the decision, but I am jealous of you lot a bit.
