The draw isn't stopping Ligeti backers it seems.

He was last turning in last week and found a way to the front. Will probably have to do the same tonight. I only have a small bet on compared to previous weeks.

Looked out in front and going well, then jockey stops riding and looks behind him twice, lets 3 go by and then rides him again.

Just watched it again, what was he doing ?
Everyone races off the bend around Dundalk, he just canters around it, canters half way down straight , looks around twice , no attempt to go win it. It looked like he would win easily and impressively, but didn't race down the straight whatsoever.

Was a really encouraging run, but the horse bolted after a furlong and jockey seemed to have little control as you could see going around the final bend.
I taught the saddle slipped in real time watching him up the straight.
Over a furlong shorter he will have a serious chance next time tho

It was strange. Usually a jockey looks around twice as a declaration of confidence, to say to the rest that you have no hope. But then he just sat there and didn't race.
