    hi, help needed. mf 165 lift arms knocking and lift capacity poor. where is hydraulic filter and how to remove? thanks

    The hydraulic filter is inside the back end.

    You'll have to lift the lift cover to get at it.

    You'll have to remove the round side cover plate first (right-hand side) - and remove the hydraulic lever roller (Important).

    Had the same poor hydraulics before on a 178 and went through all replacing filter craic. Ended up fitting a new pump from conatys (176 ex vat) and its like new. It'll lift the front wheels as high as you dare.

    Maybe just check oil level first in your case.
