I am separated nearly 2 years and in the process of getting a legal separation. I was involved in a small accident last year and the insurance company have settled on €7000. Do I have to declare this before agreement.

Well let's flip it around, if your ex came into 7K would you like a piece of the cake?
If the money is not declared (affidavit of means) and found out..be prepared for the outcome.
