Giving this one bump just to say that registration is closing on Sunday 19th March.

Why is the cycle in west Galway when it's a Munster based charity?
Surely the charity would be better known in Munster and therefore you'd have more Munster cyclists wanting to take part. West Cork or somewhere like that would be just as scenic as Clifden you'd think.

The route is changed every year.

From a local riders point of view I would have said Connemara may be a mistake
You are going up against the 22nd Croi Tour of Lough Corrib on the Sunday.
The route will have been used in parts by both Tour de Connemara and Westportif (2 very popular events) in the weeks before.
Its very much on main roads.
The Maam to MaamCross section will be used 8 times between April and end of June in different cycling events( not counting yours)

l hope you get plenty of support .

Thanks for the feedback. I suppose Better Life Cycle, to some extent, is aimed at different cyclists that the regular sportive goer, given the sponsorship requirements and the fact that it's not a free-for-all - cyclists are instead grouped by speed - so we felt the other events wouldn't impact it as much. Having said that, there are a ridiculous amount of events on in Connemara in the summer, so it's definitely something we'll be looking at more closely next year :)
