    Hi all,

I'm looking after the society in work and was wondering if anyone knows of a site that people can book tee times for each outing.

We use my golf society last year but found it a bit expensive.

Is there a similar site that can be used. We want to book our courses ourselfs and use an online system for staff to book a tee time for the day.

    Thanks

I'm on the committee of our work one, we usually just delegate it to the rest of the committee to phone / email courses for prices / packages.

If you've decent numbers, you can sometimes get good deals.

We usually then communicate to staff by email / intranet the venue, date, and time slots. Let them come back to us with a time preference then we do up a time sheet ourselves. Bit of manual work, but it works well for us. Work in a company with 1000 employees.

Best thing to do IMO is pick out potential courses for the year and then contact them by phone !
It's amazing the deals that are out there now and you just can't beat speaking to someone where bargaining is always an option.
    Best of luck...

On a society committee too, we just get a quote from My Golf Society and then phone ourselves too, sometimes we get a cheaper price direct, sometimes My Golf Society is cheaper, we just go with the cheapest, simple as

Yea we were think the same boat as getting direct prices and booking with the club.

It's the tee times booking for the members that is really handy on My society.

I was wondering is there a site that just has this option available? It would save a load of work and messing with tee time bookings.

    Thanks for all the replys

Why don't you just stick an excel sheet up on your work server that everyone can access

If that's not an option, I think you can do the same online somehow, but I'm not clued in to how that's done.

Google Docs is free and would suit your needs.

I have a speedaheet done up but how do I publish it so other people can update it?

Set up a Google Doc account, upload the spreadsheet, share the link with the group

Are societies past their sell by date. Back in in the day the only way to get to play other courses was by joining a society. Nowadays more and more golfers are members of golf clubs and there are opens available in lots of courses. Also society golf especially at weekends can be very expensive. My society is now struggling as most members have plenty of golf in their club. Anyway best of luck with your society.

We will be playing mid week so we can get good deals.
