Looking for a satellite box with mheg5.

My Walker Saorsat WP95sat-hd approved box is no more and are no longer produced or sold.

Using a triax combo box at the moment, however I miss the RTE Digital Aertel on Saorsat.

I possibly could still pick up the Walker combo, but just wondering is anything else possibly a different brand on the market

Would be thankful for any ideas, cheers

Did you find a suitable box? I need to pick a combo up that does Mehg5 for my mother so she can use the digital Aertel.

As far as I know the only satellite receivers with MHEG 5 are Freesat and Sky receivers. The stupid MHEG system is only used by the UK and Ireland so there are no generic receivers. Other broadcasters use teletext which most fta receivers can decode.

I picked up a second hand Walker combo.

You could also look for a triax combo, it has mheg 5 on terestrial tuner

The triax would be easier to use as it has a single epg
