How to pay a bill?

There's probably other better forums I could stick this into but I will need something with a little heavy traffic because I'm short on time.

Last year, there were some new regulations with bins. Until then we were making do with the paid bin bags but we had to switch over to wheelie bins. I paid 6 months upfront.

I was sent a bill recently that I need to pay. This is the first bill and I haven't a clue how it works.

There is a small little section with An post and Remittance advice is on it. Do I pay it at the post office? Is that how it works.

There is also a direct debit mandate but I would prefer to pay at the post office.

They all have different rules - just ring the company and ask.

Use the page with the An Post section to pay in the post office, and you can pay what you want as often as you want, as long as you cover the monthly cost. Then ring your provider with the reference number from the receipt.

Thank you for this. I will wander down to the post office soon.

setup online account since you usually need just customer acc number, since most if not every company has site, then topup as needed.
