Tank in hot press leaking!!!

Can anyone advise me as to how much it would cost to replace a tank in the hot press?
I've noticed the last few mornings that the floor of the hot press is wet and can't find where the water is coming from. The tank in there is at least 20yrs old and I think it would be better to just replace it as to try and fix it.
The heating system was replaced 2yrs ago and the tank in the attic was replaced at the same time.
Can someone please give me a rough guide as to what price I should expect to receive and how long it will take.

400 euro ballpark give or take. Ring around Monday for prices. Cheapest isn't always the best. I'd rather pay extra for a good plumber. If you get someone a LOT cheaper than the rest I'd proceed with extreme caution. RGI registration isn't needed for the cylinder but at least you know RGI are plumbers and have insurance. Unfortunately RGI doesn't guarantee that its a good plumber but it's a good place to start imo.

It might be just a loose fitting but if you need to replace the cylinder make sure you get an insulated one (foam covered). These cylinders actually pay for themselves eventually with money saved from the insulation.
There are some very good plumbers here on boards.ie

It depends on a lot of factors,
The cylinder size, grade, number of coils.(a grade 2 twin coil 48x18 cylinder would be over €400 to buy let alone fit (just as a reference))
Access to the cylinder you might need to disassemble half the hot press.
How long it takes to drain the system/ water tank depending on what valves are fitted and/or working.
Modifications to pipework for new cylinder.
You need to allow for inhibitor
And other things but they are the main ones.

To get any sort of a relevant price would require a site visit, or at least a lot more information.

Not to mention if there is a solid fuel boiler and it's not installed correctly you are into a whole world of pain and expense
