    Hi,

I worked in a company for 8 months of last year. I finished up in September to go to college. Ended up taking a year out from college after all and they hired someone upon my absence. New recruit has left and I see the job advertised again.

How would I go about asking to see would they take me back?

I have an email address for the Manager of the Department. Im fully trained which might help my cause

Pick up the telephone and call someone you know ... ask whats the story.

Totally agree with Mrs OBumble and best to do it sooner than later. After all op all they can say is no to you.
So ring up someone you know, heck just even ring the receptionist and ask to be put through to a manager / hr. You've already worked there so its ok to do such a thing.
