    has anyine had experience of renting student accommodation with the National College of Ireland, IFSC, Dublin 1.

    my friend's daughter is heading to Trinity in Sept 2017 and has seen the accommodation offered on National College of Ireland site and is interested but would value others opinions/reviews.

    IFSC area is a rough as a badgers backside but it's no better anywhere around TCD really. It's perfectly fine as long as you're a not a single girl staggering back pissed on their own. Once you're in any of the accommodation in the area it's grand and nothing to worry about.

    I would suggest she tries going for Halls. All her classmates will be 5 kms from Trinity in Halls. Whereas she will be in NCI with a handful of Trinity students (usually 2nd/3rd years).

    NCI accommodation isnt even that nice. I would go for the Binary Hub if she doesnt want to live in Halls

    There's also that place in D8, basically in Oliver Bond! Not sure if it's completed yet.

    GCD halls also but area isn't mega great either and it's a trek* to TCD.

    *for an undergrad.
