Gas Hob

Hi, my son got a (Russell Hobbs-ref:no. RH60GH402SS) Gas Hob as a wedding present sometime ago. Now it looks a quality unit well made, it was purschased in UK. My query is will this unit work in Ireland with referance to the Gas supply it states its supplied to run on natrual gas / LPG. I know we get alot of our natrual gas from the UK. would appricate any input

Natural gas in Ireland is the same as the uk
Most jobs come preset for Nat gas and come with a LPG conversion kit.There will be a label on it with either G20 or G31. G20 is Nat gas
The rgi that will fit it will be able to sort that out for you

Many thanks Robbie,so it's OK to get it installed, the unit is set for Nat gas with a set of injectors for LPG.in a plastic bag, that's what the manual states and It has the FSD as standard. So the G20 will be on the injectors is this correct. Is the gas pressure in ireland the same as UK.

Yes the gas pressures are the same
The label will be on the hob not the injectors
In the bag the other injectors will have a label to state what they're for
But work away and get it fitted

Note it must be fitted by a RGI and a cert issued for it

So I need a plumber who is rgi and get a cert what's the cert for ,what dose it state

It's a legal requirement to state that the hob was fitted by a registered fitter that is fully insured and competent to do the works
