Anyone tried Bosch iDos washing machine?

I'm in the market for a new washing machine in the next 6-9 months, and I'm more of a sucker for ads than I thought :)

First off I wanted the Samsung machine with the bit in the door where you can add something in (like a dropped sock) after the cycle has started. Now I've seen the Bosch iDos, which you can apparently empty a bottle of washing liquid and a bottle of fabric conditioner into, and it uses the "right" amount for each wash. Does anyone have either machine, or are the Bosch too new? Any opinions, good or bad? Or suggestions of other washing machines you like? I don't need an extra large load machine, standard is fine.

My advice after many years in the trade is stick with powder detergent, liquid detergent acts like a cancer on any internal aluminium parts of the drum

I've been using those capsules on my current machine for a while now - are they as bad, or worse?
