This seems to be an ongoing problem for many posters over the years..... Outgoing sever settings.
I can't send emails from my android phone, no matter what I try. It's an Eircom webmail on a Vodafone account. I can send and receive on my laptop and tablet no problem. But no way can I send on the phone. The tablet outgoing setting is mail.vodafone.ie, so I figured that would work, but no. I've also tried mail.iol.ie, which worked once on another phone, also various ports apart from 25, all to no avail. Even switching the modem off and on, also having a cup of tea and a lie-down. That didn't work either.
Just doesn't make sense. Any ideas?
PS: Recently had Vodafone hi-speed fibre broadband connected, but according to their blurb that shouldn't make any difference?
