Ford Focus or Hyundai i30

I have pretty much narrowed it down to a choice between the above. Budget means 2009, outside chance of budget stretching to 2010 version. I do low mileage so happy to go with a petrol version.
Advice on which to choose? Comfort and reliability being key.

I30 by a mile reliability wise.

Leaning towards the i30. For a 2009 version, any issues I should be checking with seller?

Check if it crunches going into reverse. This would indicate a bad pressure plate. Luckily clutches are cheap on them, but worth looking for nonetheless.

Check the guide to buying a car sticky.

Seen 2 2009 i30s 1.4 petrol with around 45,000 miles at same price. Then there is one with 81,000 miles bit €750 cheaper. Is mileage too high to make price saving worth it?

80k miles would be noting to worry about, doesn't seem many petrols about.
